Clara June Simmons, age 83, of Geronimo passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her residence.

Clara was born June 12, 1938 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to Ben and Daisy Prince. She worked at Geronimo Public Schools and was blessed to be able to watch her grandchildren’s school years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Daisy Prince; two sisters, Violet Nadine Vankaren and Violet June Tucker; one brother, Tony Prince and one granddaughter, Ashley Simmons, Clara is survived by two sons, Jeff Simmons of Geronimo and Gerald Simmons of Geronimo; one sister, Ina Dawson of Texas; five grandchildren, Jennifer Williams of Elgin, Cody Simmons of Arkansas, Amber Francois of Cache, Jed Simmons of Lawton and Zachary Simmons of California and seven great grandchildren, Connor Simmons, Rylee Simmons, Addison Simmons, Jakob Francois, Maddison Francois, Charlie Francois and Clara Paige Williams along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
