Chauntee JaNaury Taylor was born on February 23,1980 in Ft. Hood Texas. She departed this life on November 1,2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Chauntee attended Lawton Public Schools, graduating from Lawton Senior High in 1998. She continued her education at Great Plains Technology Center completing the Medical Coding Program. She was a hard-working woman that demonstrated her resilience and perseverance by making through any obstacles that had been thrown her way. Even through many of life's challenges, her heart remained beautifully unchanged. Chauntee was loving person that loved all her family. She was a happy individual that made new friends easily. She had a talent for making her work environment feel like home, she made many meaningful and long-lasting friendships, being a shoulder to lean on or offering advice. Her children can attest to her happy, loving nature and never being able to stay upset with her around. The simplest joke or sly comments was cause for her to give a smile bright enough to light up any room. That smile will forever be missed, as well as her knowledge, warmth and most of all, her love. Her family and friends will remember Chauntee fondly, cherishing her memory and words she shared. Chauntee accepted Christ, was baptized on November 29,1998 and she sang with the youth choir and participated in WNL.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman and Trudy Taylor, Adam Sr and Gladys LeDay; two uncles, LaRone Taylor and Vance Gardner and one aunt, Arletta LeDay, Chauntee is survived by her children, Nyela Taylor, Lyla Taylor and Chase Taylor-Putnam; her parents, Barry and May LeDay of Lawton and LaVerne and Beverly Taylor of Fayetteville North Carolina; her siblings, Dauntee (Seph) of Lawton, Ayanna LeDay of Oklahoma City, Pierra Jenkins, Ariel Taylor and Jalen Taylor all of Fayetteville, North Carolina and her grandparents, William and Armer Jean Stewart of Temple, Texas along with several nieces and nephews as well as a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
