Linda Kaye Dupler

Linda Kaye Dupler was born on November 27, 1941 in Fort Leonard Wood (PulaskI), Missouri to Barney F. and Ethel (Dorrow) Hoffman. She died after her final, courageous battle with cancer on December 3, 2011 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was 70.
Linda was raised in the Lawton/Cache area. She attended grade school at Ft Sill, spent several years at Lawton High before moving to Cache and graduating from Cache High School. Linda married David Dupler in 1960 at Ft Sill, and spent the next 51 years as part of the Cache community. She was actively involved in her children’s lives throughout their youth, especially with the Boy Scouts where Linda served as a member of the Black Beaver Board and held the distinction of receiving the Silver Beaver Award, and the Silver Fawn Award. After the kids were older, Linda went to work outside the home, at first with Jo Ann Fabrics, then Hancock Fabrics, and finally the last several years at Wal-Mart where she worked in several different departments and finally as a door greeter. When time permitted, she enjoyed working with fabrics at home, sewing, knitting and crocheting for the family and friends. Linda was also a gifted, self-taught pianist who enjoyed learning and playing music at home. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Devin Dupler; 3 grandsons, Jayson, James and David Roskam; 4 sisters, Doreen Hoffman, Lorna Dodson, Helen Keenan and Wilma Meehlis; and a brother, Bussy Hoffman.
Survivors include her husband of over 51 years, David; 2 daughters, Diane Carrow and husband Don of Cache, and Susan Roskam and husband Kyle of Broken Arrow; 5 grandchildren, Ryan Dupler of Altus, Angela Dupler of Norman, Johnathon Carrow and wife Hailey of Cache, Catherine Carrow, also of Cache, and Rachel Roskam of Broken Arrow; 2 great grandchildren, Oren Carrow of Cache and Devin Dupler of Hobart; a brother, Roger Hoffman of Chandler, Arizona, and many, many extended family members and friends from work, Boy Scouts and the community.
