Brad Whinery, a second-generation funeral director came from parents, A. L. and Dala, who are both licensed funeral directors. Brad married his high school sweetheart in 1975 and attended Oklahoma Christian University before attending Mortuary School at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. He returned home to Sayre in 1977 where he began working with his father at Rose Chapel Funeral Service in Sayre and Cheyenne,Oklahoma. He and Glenda bought the funeral homes from his parents in 1988 and over the next 10 years they with Carl Billey, purchased funeral homes in Erick, and Elk City and opened funeral homes with a partner in Hollis and Mangum, Oklahoma. In 1999 they started Affordable Cremation Service that is operated in Oklahoma City and purchased the Huddleston Funeral Home in Lawton.

As a licensed funeral director and embalmer for over 25 years,Brad was appointed by the Governor of Oklahoma to serve on the Oklahoma Funeral Board for 5 years, where he served as President. He has served as a District Chairman and Governor for the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association.

Brad has always been involved in community and civic organizations where he has served as President of the Chamber of Commerce in Elk City, Sayre and Cheyenne, President of the Elk City All Sports Association. Brad was President of the Sayre Rotary Club and District Governor of 5770 . He also served the President of Rotary International as a Presidents Representative, International Institute GDL, Rotary Foundation Coordinator for the Midwestern United States, Chairman of RI's Membership Development Committee for the US, Canada and Bermuda.

Brad and his wife are members of the Second and Adams Church of Christ where Brad has served as a deacon for over 10 years and is currently an elder. They have two children and two grandchildren, Dr. R. Brad and Kristi Whinery and son, Aiden,Chris and Kaylynn and son, Kyron.

Chris, the son of Brad and Glenda Whinery, grew up in the funeral business and became the third generation Funeral Director/Embalmer in the family. In 2004, he graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK with his Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science. After graduation, Chris returned to carry on the family tradition.

Chris is licensed as a Funeral Director/Embalmer with the State of Oklahoma. He is a member of the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association and in 2005, he served as the District IV Chairman. Chris is involved in many organizations including; Kiwanis and the Elk City Flying Aces remote control aircraft club where he currently serves as Vice-President.

Chris is a member of the 2nd and Adams Church of Christ. He is married to Kaylynn Whinery and they have one son, Kyron.

Jim Bremer was raised in La Grange, TX where he graduated from high school. He attended Texas A&M University and received his BS degree in Animal Science in 1974. After ranching for 25 years in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, Jim attended the University of Central Oklahoma and received his Bachelors Degree in Funeral Services. He has been a licensed funeral director in the states of Washington, New Mexico, and is currently a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Oklahoma.

Jim and his wife, Jenny, have four children and enough grandchildren and great grandchildren to make remembering birthdays a chore. They enjoy fishing and working around their home in their spare time. During Jim's professional career, notable activities included spending two terms on the National Cattlemans Association Board of Directors; organizing and sponsoring 4-H and FFA club calf projects for underprivileged children; and making presentations to civic organizations and livestock associations on subjects such as joint ventures for community involvement and youth development activities.
